The closed Sub- Regisstras due to Covid has been affected, but the revenue is generated sufficiently.

This upward trend in real estate is a positive sign, considering the losses incurred by the government from the months of May-June, of about 200 crores, as the registrations were closed due to Covid and still did not increase due to pandemic. By the end of April, all Sub-Registrars were open and with certain restrictions, of course. Revenue minister R Ashok, also said the real estate growth is et to increase and would take more than a quarter to stabilize. Some of the successful builders and realtors were sure of the upcoming festivals pushing the revenue as the enquiries were raising and getting back up from the Covid times were cumbersome.

By 2040, real estate is said to grow to 65,000 crore industry from the current price, which is about 13,000 crore and will contribute to the country's GDP by about 13%.
